Dear true environmentalists: Fight corporate criminality, not CO2

Dear true environmentalists: I am with you. Corporate pollution and releasing of toxic substances should be treated as a criminal act, with full power to seize assets for reparations, actual reparations, not just punitive fines. I would apply the same standard of prosecution to the "medical"/pharma and agri-food industries, also.

But: The planet and biosphere are not at risk of imminent collapse, and certainly not from CO2. The planet is, well, a planet, with huge response capabilities. It is far far more resilient and robust than you imagine. Habitat destruction and industrial practices are grotesque, and these cause real and significant harm to human communities and ecosystems, but "warming" itself cannot hurt the biosphere or humans, nor is the planet at risk of "collapse" from all the criminal practices. That is fabricated nonsense.

Our joint efforts should be on justice, attaining actual democracy, the elimination of criminal behaviour, enforcement of reparations, enforcement of corporate transparency and accountaility... The problem is human behaviour against humans and nature, and the solutions are political. Nothing to do with CO2 in the atmosphere.

Denis Rancourt will present a critical analysis about the science and geopolitics of climate change.

This will include descriptive overviews of:

• the physics of planetary warming
• planetary processes of carbon fluxes
• the politics of science funding
• social and systemic mechanisms of opinion
• national and UN drivers towards carbon management
• global and local consequences of carbon management
• planetary forces of destruction
• the nature of effective resistance

It's about the geopolitics stupid!

CO2-alarmism is fabricated by the Empire for domestic consumption. Service intellectuals dutifully gobble it up and adopt and project it.

The global legislative instruments of carbon control that are being implemented at breakneck speed in Empire-controlled jurisdictions have nothing to do with "saving the planet" and everything to do with global dominance and predation, in the same way that the World Bank has nothing to do with altruist "development".

"Peak oil" theorists and CO2-alarmists tend to disregard that the Earth is a "planet", not a fragile organism in a precarious micro-habitat, but a "planet".

As a recent example, which allows a view of the underlying geopolitical driving forces, THIS ARTICLE (reading between the lines) explains part of the mechanism whereby oil/gas are a viable USA geopolitical weapon against Russia, and China by extension. Briefly, new-era US production capacity allows the Empire to crash oil prices, using subservient Saudi Arabia, in order to bring Russia down, without itself suffering anything much.

Another consequence is that the Empire's ongoing implementation of "carbon economy" global instruments of coercion and control must deal with resistance from a new array of "small" domestic shale-oil producers, until these are monopolized and fully integrated.

CO2 will never determine geopolitics -- It's the other way around!

It's not complicated: CO2 has no effect, does not matter, and is irrelevant. [1]

It is a diversion meant to facilitate implementation of carbon-economy instruments of exploitation and control. [2] [3] [4]

The fight for environmental and resource-theft justice should not use a false argument, but instead should attack the actual problems: zero-democracy regarding resource theft, habitat destruction, pillaging by government-aided financiers and a certain global military empire, etc. [3] [4]

That the increase in atmospheric CO2 causally threatens habitats, bio-diversity, and life on earth is a baseless and impossible geo-physical conspiracy theory that serves true geo-political conspiracies. Scientists (except some) are led by their peer-reviewed noses to wherever the the ruling class wants [5]. (What? There's a "ruling class"?) (See Noble on "peer review". [6])

Furthermore, to think that geo-environmental CO2-emissions politics could ever somehow curtail exploitation and environmental harm is a paid-for fantasy as unreal as anything Disney could produce.

The actual purpose of geo-environmental CO2-emissions politics, as manipulated by the dominant global empire, can only be to serve that empire and its ruling class, irrespective of environmental and human consequences, and irrespective of negative impacts on the US domestic economy and the domestic economies of US allies.
